Faith is rarely easy. It calls for immense courage to move forward through the unknown, especially when fear creeps in, offering every reason to pause, to turn back, or to remain where it's safe. Blind Faith delves into that universal struggle—the push and pull between fear and trust. It reflects the raw human experience of advancing into the unknown, uncertain of whether the next step leads to safety or deeper uncertainty, yet pressing on anyway.
This piece depicts a figure with veiled eyes, their expression frozen in the delicate balance between vulnerability and resolve. The surrounding darkness represents the unknown—a void where doubt thrives. Yet, their face tilts upward with quiet strength, as if surrendering to the belief in something unseen but profoundly felt.
Creating this work was deeply personal. For me, this drawing stands as a reminder—not of guaranteed outcomes, but of the quiet power in choosing to move forward. Faith doesn’t always offer clarity or assurances. At times, it simply asks us to begin, to trust, and to believe.
